Or, Lucifer had already gone through this process, prior to/at the beginning/during the war, meaning Satan was raised during the war. ![]() If Lucifer fell, thinking Lilith was already dead, the grief could have pushed his wrath over the edge and resulted in him tearing out his wings and expelling Satan, only for two to grow back black by the time Diavolo arrived. I wonder if when the brothers fell to the Devildom, their wings began to blacken, and later transformed fully, whereas due to being about to die, Lilith’s did not. It is a trace of her angelic powers that are passed along her bloodline, not demonic powers. She refers to her previous life as being an angel, and her spirit would have gone to the Celestial Realm had she not chosen to linger in the Devildom after her human-life death, to watch over her brothers. We know this because Lilith did not become a demon, even though she was still barely alive when she fell. Unlike the other fallen angels, who lost their wings or had them transformed when they became demons, Lucifer’s loss of wings happened by his own hand - but them turning black is still likely due to his becoming a demon, aka having fallen. ![]()
